Sustaining Fund
The operating expenses of the
Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy (DPEA)
consist of two parts: 1)
maintenance, upgrades and consumables for the teaching labs and shops, and
2) participation in the FIRST robotics competition during the senior
year. In order to provide this valuable educational experience to our
students, we have found sources of funding from the community
and DPEA parents. This financial support pays for the annual operating expenses of the DPEA and for minor capital improvement to the existing facilities. Our Corporate Partners
play an important role in our educational mission, and
pay much of the costs of the Robotics program.
Parents of seniors make donations for travel expenses to the regional
and national competitions.
The goal of the Sustaining
Fund is to generate a stable source of income for these expenses. There are three types of donations to the Sustaining Fund:
- Corporate Partnerships
- Scholarships for travel to Robotics competitions Travel
- Multi-year commitments for operating expenses
The Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy Foundation invites you to contact us to discuss this exciting project!
