Gearing Up! Capital Campaign
Construction of the Elings Center for Engineering Education has begun! The new facility for the DPEA will be open to students in the fall of 2011. The Gearing Up! Capital Campaign will raise $655,000 to purchase state-of-the-art machinery and equipment for the laboratories and machine shops. In the new, fully-outfitted facility, the Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy will be a leader in engineering education for our community, California and the Nation.

Computer Numerical Control Machinery:
- Small CNC Mill - $30,000
- Large CNC Mill - $40,000
- CNC Lathe - $40,000
Machine Shop Equipment:
- Tool Room Lathe - $25,000 (2)
- Engine Lathe - $10,000 (2)
- Press Brake - $10,000
- Manual Mills - $15,000 (5)
Prototype and Welding Shop Equipment:
- Panel and Table Saw - $6,000
- Vertical Band Saws - $5,000 (2)
- Punch Press - $5,000
- Weld/Work Tables - $7,000
- Box and Pan Brake - $5,000
- Electronics Packages - $5,420 (16)
Contributions to the Gearing Up! Capital Campaign are tax-deductible. Donors will receive a letter acknowledging their gift with the tax ID number of the Foundation.
